The Middle East

Have you ever wondered what it is like to travel overseas? How about to visit a land of controversy and ancient conflict in the Middle East. I have been reminded to update this blog recently, and I couldn't think of a more appropriate post then writing about my adventures to another world. Soon I leave for the Middle East.
There are so many things to do and see. I look forward to swimming in the Dead Sea, seeing the Jordan River and ancient castles, biuldings carved out of the rock, streams, old olive trees, and many other beautiful sights. However, the best thing will be to meet new amazing people, many folks just like you and me, with kind and generous hearts. I look forward to the sweet celebration of Christmas in a land where the wise men may have passed through to bring gifts to the newborn King.
It will be nice to celebrate with my family who live out there and know the culture and traditions of this land.
Please pray for the lost and pray for me as I travel overseas. Flying is incredible, but I tend to attract trouble and delays.
